Batteries And Power
Your CloudTrigger is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery. After a full charge, the battery will typically hold enough power for one to two months with normal use of a few trigger runs per day. When you need to charge the device, just plug in the micro USB cable that came with the device into any compatiable USB port, such as those on computers and phone chargers. If you would like to charge your CloudTrigger with a newer USB-C port you can do so with a USB-C to Micro USB cable. An indicator light on the back of the device will glow red when the battery is charging, and will change to solid green when completely charged. You can also check the battery level via the settings menu on the device.
It is not necessary to fully power off the device with the power switch in the back when you are finished using it. Your CloudTrigger will automatically go into sleep mode after a short period of inactivity. Keeping your device in sleep mode will use an insignificant amount of energy. You can wake your device from sleep mode by pressing the right or left buttons, which is a little faster than with the power switch. If you would like to quickly place your device into sleep mode, you can do so by holding the left button for two seconds.
