Software Updates
Periodically new firmware versions may be available for your CloudTrigger, containing new features, security updates and bug fixes. This is the software that runs your device. Updating your device's firmware should not be confused with updating the triggers that you've configured for your device. Your device will automatically check for firmware updates during the pairing process and when updating triggers. You can also check for firmware updates manually through your device's settings menu. Downloading and installing the latest firmware version should only take a few minutes. It is recommended that you update your devices firmware whenever a new version is available to prevent it from falling too far behind the latest version.
New versions of our mobile app will also be made available on a regular basis. Generally nowadays most phones and tablets will automatically update to the latest versions of apps. So unless you have disabled these automatic updates, you should have the most up to date version of our app shortly after it's made available. However, you should also be able to check for updates manually via the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store.
